About Us

behind the scenes at Space Place

What.

Toronto has not had a public planetarium since 1995, and the city is the largest without one.

Why.

It is a critical missing piece of Toronto’s tourism and educational infrastructure.

Who.

Corporate management experience in aerospace and technology and large scale cross sector projects, professional and amateur astronomers, a former Ontario Deputy Minister of Tourism, and a former Toronto Catholic District School Board Chair.

How.

The Space Place team and you (our patrons) will work together to inspired, engage and build our new Toronto planetarium.

Contact us, if you’d like to help volunteer and support.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Our Dream. Our Mission.

We Believe In Innovation, Learning, and of Course, Space.

Space Place Planetarium Canada is a non-profit, multi-disciplinary group of professionals determined to bring a public planetarium back to Toronto.
